Dr. Ziets is a well-recognized leader in his field, with extensive clinical experience and surgical expertise. He is Board-certified in orthopaedic surgery with subspecialty certification in orthopaedic sports medicine, including arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, shoulder and wrist and arthroscopically-assisted tendon and ligament reconstruction. In addition, Dr. Ziets is fellowship-trained in hand surgery and also specializes in trauma and fracture care.
Nick works closely with Dr. Ziets, both in the office and in the operating room. He joined our practice in 2012. A graduate of University of Hartford, Nick completed his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Stony Brook School of Health Technology and Management. A Connecticut native, Nick is a now a Queens resident. When he’s not assisting in the practice of orthopaedic surgery, Nick enjoys both playing and watching various sports, including baseball, basketball and football.
Pierre is an invaluable part of our clinical staff. Universally admired by coworkers and patients, he joined our practice in 2010. After studying at Kingsborough Community College, Pierre majored in Radiological Sciences at Saint John’s University. The eldest of six siblings, Pierre resides in Brooklyn. Being kind, caring and humorous comes naturally to Pierre, who is part of a large, loving Haitian family. When he’s not working, Pierre enjoys having fun, laughing and dancing with family and friends.
Dennis has worked with Dr. Ziets since 1996. His loyal and dedicated service brought him from the first employee of Dr. Ziets to the person who oversees all aspects of the practice. Dennis is a Bronx native and resident who studied at Iona College. When he’s not juggling multiple tasks managing our practice, Dennis enjoys golfing, watching the Mets and Steelers and spending time at home with his wife and his dog.
Denise works hard both at the reception desk and behind the scenes, helping our practice run smoothly. Her warm smile keeps Dr. Ziets calm and makes patients feel welcome. A Bronx resident, Denise started working with our practice in 2011. When she’s not at work, Denise enjoys spending time with her family, bowling and watching movies.
